Imperial Plaza Retirement Community (1717 Bellevue Ave)

Imperial Plaza is located at 1717 Bellevue Avenue, in Richmond's north side, near the Acca Temple and Bryan Park. While guests may be seated on a space-available basis, residents receive first priority in seating.

 
From the West by Interstate 64 East:
  • Follow I-64 into the city, and take I-95 North for approximately 1 mile.
  • Take Exit #80 Hermitage Rd / Lakeside Ave and VA-161.
  • Immediately bear right off the ramp onto Westbrook Avenue.
  • Turn left on VA-161, Hermitage Rd and go South for 0.4 miles.
  • Turn right on Bellevue Ave. and travel 300 feet to Imperial Plaza.
  • Turn left onto the grounds at the guard house.
  • After confirming your purpose to the guard, turn left just past the guard house.
  • Follow the drive to the small parking lot on the right. Additional parking is located further along the drive toward the back of the facility.
  • From the small parking lot, walk down the hill toward the small one-story building, which is the concert hall. Enter from the front of the building, through the glass hallway.
From the East by Interstate 64 West:
  • Follow I-64 into the city, and take I-95 North for 4.3 miles.
  • Take Exit #80 Hermitage Rd / Lakeside Ave and VA-161.
  • Immediately bear right off the ramp onto Westbrook Avenue.
  • Turn left on VA-161, Hermitage Rd and go South for 0.4 miles.
  • Turn right on Bellevue Ave. and travel 300 feet to Imperial Plaza.
  • Turn left onto the grounds at the guard house.
  • After confirming your purpose to the guard, turn left just past the guard house.
  • Follow the drive to the small parking lot on the right. Additional parking is located further along the drive toward the back of the facility.
  • From the small parking lot, walk down the hill toward the small one-story building, which is the concert hall. Enter from the front of the building, through the glass hallway.
From the North by Interstate 95 South:
  • Exit I-95 via Exit 82, US-301 Chamberlayne Avenue and travel on Chamberlyane approximately 2 miles.
  • Turn right on Bellevue Ave. and go approximately one mile to Imperial Plaza.
  • Turn left onto the grounds at the guard house.
  • After confirming your purpose to the guard, turn left just past the guard house.
  • Follow the drive to the small parking lot on the right. Additional parking is located further along the drive toward the back of the facility.

From the South by Powhite Parkway:
  • Take the Powhite Parkway (VA-76) North across the river.
  • Bear left onto I-195 when it splits with the Downtown Express.
  • Travel approximately two miles and exit at Laburnum Ave. (VA-197).
  • At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Laburnum Avenue and travel approximately 1/2 mile.
  • Turn left on VA-161, Hermitage Rd for approximately 1/2 mile.
  • Turn left on Bellevue Ave. and travel 300 feet to Imperial Plaza.
  • Turn left onto the grounds at the guard house.
  • After confirming your purpose to the guard, turn left just past the guard house.
  • Follow the drive to the small parking lot on the right. Additional parking is located further along the drive toward the back of the facility.
